I’m a bit behind on the Oscars. Not a surprise given the fact I didn’t watch them. I’m not a fan of award shows mainly because the most talented people I know are out of work. That and I find award shows unbearably boring. Also because it’s tiring seeing the same members of the Hollywood club invited each year. That said I just learned about the “Boobs Song” that was performed at last night’s Academy Awards. Now I pride myself in having a pretty good sense of humor, but this bit was neither funny, original or entertaining. Not to mention it was insulting and humiliating to the women mentioned in the lyrics.
Who gave that song a green light? It sounded like something you’d hear sung at a 1980′s frat house.
So I am going to give you my opinion on what to do and what not to do when writing and singing about mammaries.
What NOT to do
1. Be a group of men
2. Make fun of one gender of your peers
3. Act like Seventh Graders

And of course he/she/they had to use IT’s new-found skill to promote Fox News Bull Shit. Then shamelessly promote it all over Facebook. Of course the ongoing obsession with Sandra Fluke isn’t enough for these Limbaugh-loving, Breitfart-bending dopes. Nope! This crew rabidly and willingly parrot pretty much anything that comes out of Rush Limbaugh’s stench-filled mouth. These cretins have laughingly spread this Women-Bashing collage of lies. Bwahaha! Never mind that it uses Romney’s “Binders full of women” comment. You know the one. The same statement that put the final nail in Romney’s otherwise stellar campaign for President?
Note to #RWNJs: Study up on satire. Otherwise you’ll be looking at an even bigger defeat when Hillary Clinton wins in 2016!

I’m not sure why exactly Republicans can’t get it into their THICK Skulls that they helped Obama win the election by following Rush Limbaugh’s lead in attacking Fluke. But no one with an IQ Higher than 82 expects anything more from them. Breitfart, Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Fox News, et al have made a laughing stock of the Republican Party. All I can do is be amused by their ongoing idiocy.

Republicans aren’t even trying to hide their sexism. A simple search of Sandra Fluke on twitter will show countless slut-shaming, whore-labeling, and unoriginal tweets. I’m not sure why these tweeters think they’re helping the GOP with their cyber-gang-bang antics. But then again they aren’t so bright. They CLEARLY listen to Rush Limbaugh’s idiocy. And believe it.
Last night on my Facebook page one of them actually wrote “Sandra Fluke wanted people to pay for her condoms.” I don’t know if Republicans are just selective about the information they allow in their heads… If they think if they repeat lies often enough people will believe them… or if their brains are so small they can’t fit anything more than the nonsense Fox News and Limbaugh feed them.
I’ve collected tweets from some of these dittohead dweebs. Unfortunately most of them are a repetition of GOP frat-boy Bill O’Reilly’s implication at the RNC Convention. Cleverness and creativity does not abound.

Remember when the imbecilic frat pledges at Yale University marched in front of the Women’s Center chanting “No means Yes. Yes means anal, No means Yes. Yes means anal.” Oh those hilarious pranksters and their side-splitting rape jokes. How eloquently they proved that an Ivy league education makes one neither classy nor decent.
Enter Bill O’Reilly. O’Reilly is a product of the Ivy league education system himself. He never fails to let his viewers know, at least once a week, that he graduated from Harvard. Now I don’t blame Harvard for his latest crude suggestion. I’m just saying there is a weird connection to the objectifying chant of the Yale pledges in 2010 and O’Reilly’s whore-labeling of law student Sandra Fluke.
At the RNC Convention last week O’Reilly brought up that Sandra Fluke will be speaking at this week’s DNC Convention. Well it seems that just like Rush Limbaugh, O’Reilly too is unclear about how birth control works. Ergo his joke about condoms dropping on Sandra Fluke’s head when she speaks this week at the DNC Convention.
Of course Sandra Fluke, who has proven herself to always remain poised and on point, in spite of all the ridiculous and sadistic attacks that have been thrown at her by not only the most powerful pundits of the Republican party; Rush Limbaugh, Beck and now O’Reilly, but their fans as well. Fluke is regularly attacked on twitter by people who apparently do not only NOT know how birth control pills work. But they are also clueless to the other medical issues they help with besides pregnancy prevention. But what should I expect from people who believe women were put on this earth to breed.

I’ve learned to no longer be surprised or shocked by the Breitbart crew’s inability to tell the whole truth… or their joy at participating in bully politics… or the way they proudly share scraps from their latest kill to a frenzied audience. I know Andrew started this new Republican-bully “journalism” as a push back to what he perceived that liberals do. He felt bullied by Democrats when he came out as a Republican in Hollywood. No easy feat. I give him props and credit for that bravery. And hopefully the anger he developed from that experience is not what killed him. And I honestly hope he is resting in peace.
His successors, however, remind me of the 1988 movie “Heathers.” They have taken the red bow out of Breitbart’s hair and now wear it proudly. They’ve gotten louder than Breitbart ever was. And they really seem to hate any information that doesn’t support their political agenda. They hate opposing ideas. They hate them so much they re-write them. Sandra Fluke’s Testimony before a congressional committee is STILL being distorted to such a degree that I wouldn’t be surprised if some Republicans think she’s a crack whore that wants tax payers to pay a thousand dollars a month for her condoms. Thank you Rush Limbaugh!
So today the right wing blogosphere is having a circle jerk over the BOLD Dana Loesche for doing hard-hitting reporting by getting in-the-face of ONE Code Pink protestor at the RNC convention. That’s RIGHT! ONE 60+ year old woman who’s being escorted out of the convention by security guards. And Loesche is BOLDLY-IN-HER FACE!
The way the internet is treating Dana’s “bravery” is LAUGHABLE! It’s is as if she was in Iran and pulled-off her government-sanctioned Burka to ask Ahmadinejad if he’s developing nuclear weapons.
Hero worship of journalists should be reserved for true journalists. Those that put their lives on the line for a story. Like Lara Logan. Not bestowed upon tabloid journalist. Those that would be reality stars if someone didn’t hire them to write lies.
And speaking of lies… the video that Breitbart posted, that supposedly “challenges” or as some bloggers have written “smacks-down” a protestor, leaves out Loesch asking the woman why she’s supporting Obama. The woman responds “who says I’m supporting Barack Obama?” Others ask “who do you support?” The woman responds “I support Peace and Justice.”
But that didn’t stop the crazies from labeling her an Obama supporter.

Of course Ms. Loesch never waited for an answer to any of her repeated questions. She seemed more interested in hearing herself yell than actually having a dialogue. Ergo the title of this post.

And I could not be happier. When I first heard this was going to happen I posted the story to facebook with the following comment: “Looks like Limbaugh may have helped launch a future political career.” Take that Limbaugh! You Fu**ing Douche!
I have no doubt that Fluke will be a powerful voice in politics for years to come. And if things go right she may one day run for President of this great but divided country. And if-and-when that happens I will laughingly thank Rush Limbaugh. For although his intention was to rile up his base with lies and distortions about Fluke’s testimony. He also intended on intimidating her and other women from being vocal. By slut-shaming Fluke no other woman would dare speak out for her rights… how 1950′s.
But his plan backfired. Instead he awoke millions of sleeping giantesses. And the men who love and respect them. Well done Limbaugh. Way to rally a base… of women… against you.
